In this ever-changing fashion industry, Yozanas strives to present sustainably created fabrics that last a lifetime. By studying what makes womxn feel good and confident in clothing, we are determined to continue to transcend the overall outlook of how unique designs enhance the body and the spirit. Founder
Yosana Leal is an experienced textiles specialist and licensed technologist. She currently shares her knowledge with future designers as Associated Lecturer.
Most of her previous work addresses social issues surrounding femininity, invisible disabilities, and sustainability.
Sustainability
Sustainable Design
Here at Yozanas, we combine our knowledge of material behaviour and clothing design, to design timeless garments. Enabling our product to last through generations. This is approached by creating clothing that can be worn in different styles.
Social sustainability
Our products are manufactured in London by local, independent manufacturing and creatives; contributing to the local economy. We believe creative practitioners should be paid fairly for their work, and so all contractors are paid above the living wage.
Environmental Sustainability
Fabrics used throughout our collections are either organic, and tencel. Organic farmers have more control over their crops and this allow them to make a higher profit.
